Discussed at consult
For some patients, oral prescription options may be appropriate. Your provider will go over options, ingredients and side effects with you.
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medications with real risks. Your provider will go over the full prescribing information with you before you start. In plain language:
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion and reactions at the injection site. These are often worse when starting or increasing a dose.
These medications carry a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors seen in animal studies. Other serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with other diabetes medications), kidney problems from dehydration, and allergic reactions. Get medical care right away for severe stomach pain, a lump or swelling in your neck, trouble swallowing, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Ask your provider whether your medication is an FDA-approved brand-name product or a compounded medication, and which pharmacy it comes from. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Optional services some patients add to their plan. They are not a substitute for a weight loss program.
| iTrim IV infusion | $200 |
| MICC / lipotropic injection | $45 each, or $250 for 10 |
